Home to a diverse population that ranges from highly educated suburbanites to rural working class families; Virginia’s 18th State House District runs southwest from Sperryville to near Front Royal in the northwest, Warrenton to the east and near Middleburg to the north. It includes parts of the counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Warren, and all of Rappahannock. Historically, the GOP has a demonstrated record of winning in Virginia’s 18th House District; however, a changing political climate may prove ripe for looking at alternative, nonestablishment parties. Will seeks to unite the people of the district behind the common ideals that all Virginians share, working with both the GOP and the Democrats in the General Assembly. The balance of power in Virginia should not be found in majority parties but in the people. The only path for Virginians to regain control of the Assembly will rest on our ability to add new voices to the conversation in Richmond. Will King offers the people of HD-18 the best chance for this. A unique opportunity exists for an organized and well-funded candidate to win in Virginia’s 18th House District in 2017. Because he has a strong history of service and leadership, a record of dedication to people of the community, and a personal profile with which voters can identify, Will King is positioned for victory.
